...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Oconee, southeastern

Barrow, northern Morgan, Clarke, northeastern Walton, northwestern

Greene and southeastern Jackson Counties through 645 PM EDT...



At 616 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over James Holland Youth

Sports Cmpx, or over Athens, moving southwest at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to 

         ground lightning.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of 

         light, unsecured objects.

Monroe, Watkinsville, Athens, Statham, Arcade, Winterville, Bogart,

North High Shoals, Bostwick, Good Hope, Bishop, Hull, Whitehall,

Athens-Clarke County, Westgate Park, Beechwood Hills, Oconee Heights,

Wrayswood, Eastville, and Barnett Shoals.
