...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Catoosa,

western Murray, Whitfield and southern Walker Counties through 645 PM

EDT...



At 610 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was near Center Post, or near

Lafayette, moving east at 60 mph.



HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to 

         ground lightning.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of 

         light, unsecured objects.

Dalton, Lafayette, Chatsworth, Varnell, Tunnel Hill, La Fayette,

Naomi, Noble, Wood Station, Rocky Face, Tilton, Mill Creek, Linwood,

Beaumont, Beaverdale, Dawnville, Villanow, North Georgia Speedway,

and Rock Spring.
