...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern

Lancaster, southwestern Chesterfield and northeastern Kershaw

Counties through 500 PM EDT...



At 408 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Westville, or 12 miles northeast of Lake Wateree Dam, moving

northeast at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Kershaw, Cassatt, Carolina Sandhills Wildlife Refuge, Westville, Mt

Pisgah, Jefferson, Taxahaw, Kershaw Correctional Institution, North

Central High School, Dekalb, Forty Acre Rock Preserve, and Midway

Elementary School.
