...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL FAIRFIELD COUNTY THROUGH

600 PM EDT...



At 523 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Ridgefield, or 8 miles south of Danbury, moving east at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Bridgeport, Danbury, Shelton, Newtown, Fairfield, Stratford,

Trumbull, Westport, Ridgefield, Monroe, Bethel, Wilton, Weston,

Redding, and Georgetown.
