...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY

THROUGH 345 PM EDT...



At 250 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong

thunderstorms over Hammond Village, moving southeast at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Hammond Village, Morristown Village, Richville, Gouverneur Village,

De Peyster, Gouverneur, Macomb, Rossie, De Kalb, Fowler, Hammond,

Morristown, Hermon, Oswegatchie, Canton, Chippewa Bay, Jacques

Cartier State Park, Edwardsville, North Gouverneur, and West Fowler.
