...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN ALBANY AND NORTHEASTERN

GREENE COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM EDT...



At 331 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Berne, or 16 miles west of Delmar, moving east at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Albany, Delmar, New Baltimore, Westerlo, Ravena, Coxsackie, Berne,

Voorheesville, Feura Bush, Selkirk, New Scotland, Coeymans,

Rensselaerville, Clarksville, Coeymans Hollow, East Berne, Shoefelt

Corners, West Berne, Spawn Hollow, and Dormansville.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 87 between exits 21B and 23.

 Interstate 787 between exits 1 and 4.
