...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MECKLENBURG AND

SOUTHWESTERN LUNENBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...



At 915 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Dryburg, or near Clover, moving east at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Chase City, Boydton, Kells Corner, Fairview, Rogers Corner, Spanish

Grove, Finchley, Finneywood, Skipwith, and John H Kerr Reservoir.
