...AREAS OF DENSE FOG EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS SOUTHERN VIRGINIA

AND PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA...



Fog has developed across south central and interior southeast 

Virginia, and will gradually spread into interior portions of 

northeast North Carolina and central Virginia through 5 AM. Visibilities

are mainly between one half mile and one mile, but will locally 

be reduced to one quarter mile at times. If the dense fog becomes

more widespread, a Dense Fog Advisory may be considered. 

Visibilities are expected to gradually improve after 7 AM. 



Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to

the areas of dense fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam

headlights only.
