Fog has developed across south central and interior southeast Virginia, and will gradually spread into interior portions of northeast North Carolina and central Virginia through 5 AM. Visibilities are mainly between one half mile and one mile, but will locally be reduced to one quarter mile at times. If the dense fog becomes more widespread, a Dense Fog Advisory may be considered. Visibilities are expected to gradually improve after 7 AM. Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the areas of dense fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam headlights only. $$
