...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CUMBERLAND AND

PRINCE EDWARD COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM EDT...



At 809 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Darlington Heights, or 9 miles west of Hampden Sydney, moving

northeast at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.



This strong thunderstorm will be near...

  Hampden Sydney and Prospect around 820 PM EDT.

  Farmville around 835 PM EDT.

  Longwood University around 845 PM EDT.



Other locations impacted by this storm include Kingsville, Raines

Tavern, Briery Creek Lake, Tuggle, Elam, Reeds, Stoddert, Allens

Mill, Hawk, and Worsham.
