...HEAT ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED...



The latest observations across the region are reporting heat

indices now dropping below Heat Advisory criteria. Apparent

temperatures could still range to around 100-109 F over the next 

few hours, but are dropping and will continue to significantly

improve through sunset and into tonight. A SPS still remains in 

effect until 8 PM this evening for Starr, Brooks and Northern 

Hidalgo counties as indices of 108 or greater remain possible.
