...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 AM CDT

FOR SOUTHERN COVINGTON COUNTY...



At 645 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 4 miles south of Opp to 10 miles north of Lockhart to

12 miles northwest of Laurel Hill, moving east at 35 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.
