...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT

FOR NORTHEASTERN WAYNE COUNTY...



At 1036 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southeast

of Shubuta, or 7 miles north of Waynesboro, moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of

northeastern Wayne County.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for southeastern

Mississippi. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT

for southwestern Alabama.
