...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT

FOR LEAKE AND NORTHERN SCOTT COUNTIES...



At 513 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Tuscola, or

near Carthage, moving east at 35 mph.



HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 

         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 

         roofs, and outbuildings.



This severe storm will be near...

  Walnut Grove, Standing Pine, and Madden around 520 PM CDT.

  Sebastopol around 525 PM CDT.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central and

east central Mississippi.
