FOR SOUTHEASTERN HIDALGO AND WEST CENTRAL CAMERON COUNTIES...



At 753 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Santa Maria,

moving southeast at 35 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Progreso City Offices, La Feria Police Department, Villa Verde,

Rangerville Elementary School, Mercedes, La Feria High School, Santa

Maria, Lion Lake, Black Elementary School, and Mercedes Junior High

School.
