MONTGOMERY...NORTHWESTERN RICHMOND...RANDOLPH...STANLY AND

SOUTHWESTERN CHATHAM COUNTIES...



At 827 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 8 miles northeast of Randleman to 6 miles south of

Albemarle, moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Asheboro, Albemarle, Randleman, Troy, Siler City, Badin Lake, North

Carolina Zoo, Biscoe, Ansonville, and Goldston.
