...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT

FOR CENTRAL FAIRFIELD AND SOUTHWESTERN NEW HAVEN COUNTIES...



At 553 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from near Seymour to near Shelton to Stratford to near

Bridgeport, moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind 

         damage to trees and power lines.



These severe storms will be near...

  New Haven and Milford around 600 PM EDT.

  North Haven around 605 PM EDT.

  Wallingford and Branford around 610 PM EDT.
