...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM EDT

FOR SOUTHEASTERN DELAWARE AND NORTHERN LICKING COUNTIES...



At 510 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles west of

Utica, moving east at 45 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind 

         damage to trees and power lines.



Locations impacted include...

Johnstown, Utica, New Albany, Hartford, St. Louisville, Fredonia,

Fallsburg, US Route 62 at State Route 661, and Purity.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground

lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from

windows.



Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading

killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to

be struck by lightning.
