...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT

FOR SOUTHERN LITCHFIELD COUNTY...



At 623 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from near Burlington to near Southbury, moving northeast at

65 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

New Milford, Sherman, Thomaston, Oakville, Terryville, Woodbury

Center, Gaylordsville, Watertown, Plymouth, Woodbury, Bethlehem,

Washington, Morris, Roxbury, Bridgewater, Hotchkissville, Pequabuck,

Reynolds Bridge, Candlewood Trails, and Pomeraug.
