...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT

FOR CENTRAL LITCHFIELD COUNTY...



At 618 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from near New Hartford to near Litchfield, moving east at

25 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Torrington, New Hartford, Litchfield, Northwest Harwinton, New

Preston, New Hartford Center, Harwinton, Barkhamsted, Morris, Bantam,

West Torrington, Torringford, Haight Vineyard, Beech Rock, Lower

Merryall, Marble Dale, East Litchfield, Upper Merryall, Erickson

Corner, and Dempsey Landing.
