...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT

FOR LITCHFIELD AND EAST CENTRAL DUTCHESS COUNTIES...



At 602 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Litchfield, or

9 miles southwest of Torrington, moving east at 25 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Torrington, New Hartford, Kent, Norfolk, Litchfield, Northwest

Harwinton, New Hartford Center, Gaylordsville, New Preston, Cornwall

Bridge, Winsted, Dover Plains, Harwinton, Barkhamsted, Goshen,

Morris, Colebrook, Warren, Cornwall, and Bantam.
