...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT

FOR THE CENTRAL CITY OF VIRGINIA BEACH...



At 444 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Princess Anne,

or near Virginia Beach, moving east at 35 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to 

         trees and powerlines.



This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of the

central City of Virginia Beach, including the following locations...

Oceana, Rudee Heights, Sigma, Sandbridge Beach, Dam Neck, Oceana NAS,

Macons Corner, Pungo, and London Bridge.
