FOR NORTHEASTERN CURRITUCK  AND THE SOUTHEASTERN CITY OF VIRGINIA

BEACH...



At 214 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Knotts Island,

or 8 miles northeast of Currituck, moving east at 20 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.



This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of

northeastern Currituck  and the southeastern City of Virginia Beach.
