Warming temperatures into the low 40s suggest that any further 

precipation would remain rain. Other webcams across Yuma county 

suggest that any snow has melted or remains minimal. Should there be 

any impacts it would be along Highway 36 from Joes to Idalia.

AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Wet snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch.



* WHERE...Cheyenne CO and Kit Carson Counties.



* WHEN...Until 3 PM MDT this afternoon.



* IMPACTS...Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will likely 

  become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Slow down and use caution while traveling. For road conditions in 

Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado call 511. Do not use GPS for 

alternate routes or go around barricades.



Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while 

driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken 

on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and 

slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.



Persons traveling on Interstate 70 will experience travel delays and 

hazardous driving conditions. Use extreme caution if you must travel.
