Accumulating snow has come to an end for most of southeastern Iowa 

this evening, and we have cancelled a portion of the Winter Weather 

Advisory. There are still some slippery conditions due to 

snow-covered roads being reported, so make sure to take it slow on 

the roadways if out traveling tonight.

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch.



* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Illinois and east 

  central and southeast Iowa.



* WHEN...Until 3 AM CST Friday.



* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will 

  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road 

  conditions.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. In Iowa, the latest road

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while 

driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken 

on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and 

slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
