* WHAT...Hot temperatures as high as 80 expected.



* WHERE...Central Arctic Plains in the vicinity of Umiat.



* WHEN...Until 10 PM AKDT Thursday.



* IMPACTS...Individuals not accustomed to these unusually hot 

  temperatures for this region may experience heat related illnesses.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures are expected to cool into the 

  low 50s during the overnight hours.

Take extra precautions when working in the sun. Wear sunscreen and
