The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Coconino County in north central Arizona...



* Until 415 PM MST /515 PM MDT/.



* At 325 PM MST /425 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 

  miles south of Raymond Wildlife Area, or 28 miles west of Winslow, 

  moving northeast at 15 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind

           damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Meteor Crater, Meteor Crater Rest Area, Anderson Canyon, Raymond 

  Wildlife Area, Rimmy Jims, Two Guns and Meteor City.



This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 229 and 240.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from 

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large 

hail.
