The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Southeastern Cocke County in east Tennessee...



* Until 900 PM EDT.



* At 809 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Smoky

  Mountains-Big Creek, or 12 miles south of Newport, moving southeast

  at 10 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Hartford, Max Patch, Waterville, and Smoky Mountains-Big Creek.



This includes Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 446 and

451.

building.



To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement

agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service

office in Morristown.



Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
