Hagupit is moving west-southwest at 14 mph. It is expected to make a turn toward the west-northwest with a slight decrease in forward speed through Friday. Maximum sustained winds remain at 40 mph. Hagupit is forecast to maintain this intensity through tonight. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 100 miles to the northeast and up to 0 miles elsewhere.
