The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 415 PM CDT.



* At 330 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 36 nm south of Oriskany Reef to 52 nm south of

  Perdido Pass to 57 nm south of Gulf Shores Beach, moving northwest

  at 30 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
