* Special Marine Warning for...

  Charlotte Harbor and Pine Island Sound...

  Coastal waters from Bonita Beach to Englewood FL out 20 NM...



* Until 515 PM EDT.



* At 440 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 21 nm northeast of Don Pedro Island to 8 nm

  northeast of Captiva, moving northwest at 15 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher 

           waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure 

           all on board are wearing life jackets.



* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
