  Charleston Harbor...

  Waters from South Santee River to Edisto Beach SC out 20 NM...



* Until 945 PM EDT.



* At 819 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 6 NM northwest of 

  Wappoo Cut, moving east at 15 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds

           and suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Charleston Nearshore Reef, Air Force Reef, Charleston Coastal 

  Anglers, Rattlesnake Shoal, Charleston Harbor Entrance, Crab Bank, 

  Capers Island Buoy, Castle Pinkney, Capers Reef and Wappoo Cut.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.



Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
