* Special Marine Warning for...

  Lake Erie from Sturgeon Point to Buffalo...

  The Upper Niagara River and Buffalo Harbor...



* Until 230 AM EDT.



* At 104 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 12 nm southwest of Lewiston to 11 nm southwest of

  Grand Island to 13 nm northwest of Lake Erie Beach, moving east at

  15 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Small Boat Harbor, Grand Island, Wanakah, Woodlawn Beach, Erie

  Basin Marina, Sturgeon Point, Athol Springs, and Bayview.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
