...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CHST MONDAY...



* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 11 feet.



* WHERE...North facing reefs of Pohnpei and Kosrae.



* WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Monday.



* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and

  localized beach erosion.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Surf will gradually decrease overnight,

  falling below hazardous levels by sunrise Monday. The latest

  model guidance indicates this downward trend will continue

  through the middle of the week.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to

dangerous surf conditions.
