* Special Marine Warning for...

  Alenuihaha Channel...

  Maalaea Bay...

  Maui County Leeward Waters...

  Maui County Windward Waters...

  Pailolo Channel...



* Until 1030 PM HST.



* At 824 PM HST, a line heavy showers and thunderstorms was located 

  over the Maui waters extending northeast from south of Lanai to 

  north of Haiku, moving northeast at 30 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  FAD Buoy HS, FAD Buoy HO, Cape Halawa, Lahaina Harbor, Shipwreck

  Beach, FAD Buoy K, Maliko Boat Ramp, and Kahului Harbor.
