...TROPICAL STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT...



* WHAT...Northeast winds 35 to 45 kt with gusts up to 60 kt and

  seas 10 to 16 feet are possible.



* WHERE...Yap Coastal Waters.



* WHEN...Through at least Saturday morning, or longer if conditions

  warrant.



* IMPACTS...Very strong winds will cause hazardous seas which

  could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tropical Storm Hagupit (05W) is currently

  forecast to move through just south of Yap Proper Friday night.

  Tropical storm force winds are possible Friday evening through 

  Saturday morning. 



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A tropical storm watch means sustained winds of 34 to 63 kt or

39 to 73 mph are possible due to a tropical storm within

48 hours.



Mariners should pay close attention to the marine forecast and

consider wind and sea conditions in planning.
