* Special Marine Warning for...

  Southern Stephens Passage...

  Frederick Sound...

  Sumner Strait...



* Until 100 PM AKDT.



* At 1205 PM AKDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 12 NM southeast

  of Kake, moving northeast at 25 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.



  SOURCE...Satellite imagery indicated.



  IMPACT...Small craft could capsize in briefly higher winds and

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Cape Fanshaw, Five Finger Light, Kake and Point Gambier.
