...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in 

Washington...



  Chehalis River At Centralia affecting Lewis County.



.The Chehalis River is cresting right at minor flood stage and will 

slowly recede tonight.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.



* WHERE...Chehalis River at Centralia.



* WHEN...Until late this evening.



* IMPACTS...At 166.5 feet, the Chehalis River in Lewis County will 

  spill over its banks into nearby pasture lands around Chehalis and 

  Centralia.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 3:00 PM PST Thursday the stage was 168.3 feet.

  - Flood stage is 168.5 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 3:00 PM PST Thursday was 168.6 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 161.3 feet early

    Monday morning.
