...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Idaho...



  Coeur d Alene River at Cataldo affecting Kootenai and Shoshone 

  Counties.



.Rain has ended however snowmelt will continue to feed into the 

river.  River levels will continue to recede over the next 36 hours.



For the Coeur d'Alene River...including Enaville, Cataldo...Minor 

flooding is forecast.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 

enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 

Weather Service when you can do so safely.



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TONIGHT...



* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Coeur d Alene River at Cataldo.



* WHEN...Until late tonight.



* IMPACTS...At 46.0 feet, The east-bound I-90 exit and entrance near 

  Cataldo may be flooded. Latour Creek Road will be flooded and 

  impassable. The Old Coeur d'Alene River Road along the North Fork 

  of the Couer d'Alene River will be flooded.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 9:15 AM PST Friday the stage was 45.6 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 42.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

    ending at 9:15 AM PST Friday was 46.4 feet.

  - Forecast...The river has lowered below moderate flood stage

    and will remain in minor flood stage into Saturday morning.

  - Flood stage is 43.0 feet.

  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

    46.0 feet on 05/19/2008.
