Water flowing over roadways will create slick roads and muddy unpaved roads. Ponding of water on interstates, highways and in urban areas will create hazardous travel conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 134 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms over East Flagstaff. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Rio De Flag, San Francisco Wash and Walnut Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Flagstaff, Picture Canyon Preserve, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Doney Park, Flagstaff Mall, Country Club, Mt. Elden, Mountain View Ranches, Cosnino, Elden Pueblo and East Flagstaff. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between mile markers 201 and 209.
