Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings. Water flowing over roadways will create slick roads and muddy unpaved roads. Ponding of water on interstates, highways and in urban areas will create hazardous travel conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 709 PM MST, doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain in the advisory area had ended. Minor flooding remains a threat however from earlier heavy rainfall. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Butte Wash, Cooper Wash, Granite Creek, Big Chino Wash, Dillon Wash, Little Chino Valley, Quartz Lead Wash, Verde River, Walnut Creek, Pine Creek, Williamson Valley Wash, Mint Wash, Bottleneck Wash, Antelope Wash and Mud Tank Wash. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chino Valley, Prescott, Sullivan Buttes, Paulden, Williamson Valley and Granite Mountain Wilderness. - This includes State Route 89 between mile markers 325 and 339. - Additional information is available at weather.gov/flagstaff.
