...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...



* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 

  rainfall continues.



* WHERE...A portion of northwest Texas, including the following 

  county, Lubbock.



* WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT.



* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

  Water over roadways.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 1136 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges

    indicated light to moderate rainfall.   The heaviest rain was

    near New Deal and Abernathy at 1130 AM.   This is causing

    urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches

    of rain have fallen.

  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.3 inches are expected

    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor

    flooding.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Lubbock, Abernathy, and New Deal.
