...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in 

Louisiana...



  Mississippi River At Donaldsonville affecting Ascension Parish.



  Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting East Baton Rouge,

   West Feliciana and Pointe Coupee Parishes.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 

cars through flooded areas.



Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Mississippi River at Donaldsonville.



* WHEN...Until Friday, May 23.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.2 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

    Thursday, May 22 and continue falling to 21.2 feet Thursday,

    June 05.

  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is 

  forecast.



* WHERE...Mississippi River at Red River Landing.



* WHEN...Until Friday, May 30.



* IMPACTS...At 58.0 feet, Angola farmland on the left bank becomes 

  inundated.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 57.4 feet.

  - Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 57.5

    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below

    flood stage Thursday, May 29.

  - Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
