* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.



* WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon.



* IMPACTS...At 20.3 feet, Township roads downstream in Covington

  begin flooding near this height.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 11:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.6 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending

    at 11:00 AM CDT Sunday was 19.9 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

    Wednesday morning and continue falling to 14.6 feet Sunday, March

    29.

  - Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
