* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.



* WHERE...Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.



* WHEN...Until Thursday evening.



* IMPACTS...At 20.3 feet, Township roads downstream in Covington

  begin flooding near this height.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 6:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 20.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending

    at 6:30 PM CDT Saturday was 20.3 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early

    Wednesday afternoon and continue falling to 15.1 feet Saturday,

    March 28.

  - Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
