...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT THIS EVENING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...Lee County in north central Illinois...



* WHEN...Until 730 PM CDT Sunday.



* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Slow

  moving or standing water may continue. High water likely may recede

  slowly from flooded areas.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 125 PM CDT, minor flooding continues in the advisory area

    after heavy rain due to thunderstorms early this morning. Between

    2 and 5 inches of rain fell.

  - Though additional heavy rain is not expected, standing water and

    elevated creeks and streams will persist into this afternoon. A

    Flood Warning is also in effect along and near the Green River.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Amboy, Paw Paw, Sublette, Woodhaven Lakes, Compton, West

    Brooklyn, Harmon and Lee Center.

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor

drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
