...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM EDT THIS EVENING...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.



* WHERE...Portions of southeast North Carolina, including the 

  following county, Columbus and northeast South Carolina, including 

  the following county, Horry.



* WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT.



* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 614 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges

    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is

    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.

    Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.

  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected

    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor

    flooding.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Conway, Horry, Loris, Bethel, Lake Waccamaw, Hickory Grove,

    Goretown, Allsbrook, Bayboro, Adrian, Mollie, Dulah,

    Homewood, Nakina, Pireway, Bughill, Old Dock, Crusoe Island,

    Pee Dee Crossroads and Aynor.
