At 345 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches have fallen with the heavy rainfall that moved through the area this afternoon. There have also been multiple reports of road flooding. The heaviest rain has tapered off at this time but it will still take some time for the waters to fully recede so the Flash Flood Warning remains in effect. There may also be some additional showers moving through the area through early this evening. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Trenton, Ewing, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Bordentown, Yardley, Tullytown, Langhorne, Pemberton, Wrightstown and Columbus. This includes the following highways... Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 48 and 66. New Jersey Turnpike between exits 6 and 7A.
