The Flood Watch is cancelled for a portion of central Alabama, 

including the following counties, Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, 

Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Marengo, Pickens, 

Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega and Tuscaloosa.



The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch is being 

cancelled.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 

  possible.



* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following 

  counties, Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Chilton, Coosa, 

  Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, 

  Russell and Tallapoosa.



* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Thursday.



* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 

  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 

  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur 

  in poor drainage and urban areas.
