...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PST TODAY...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by earlier excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...A portion of northwest Washington, including the following 

  county, Whatcom.



* WHEN...Until noon PST.



* IMPACTS...Nooksack River Everson overflow flooding is continuing 

  along an abandoned Nooksack River side channel, including Johnson 

  Creek, from Everson north toward Sumas and the Canadian border.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 753 AM PST, Stream gauge at the Everson overflow gage on

    SR 544 indicates that flooding there has ended but flooding

    is still ongoing along an abandoned Nooksack River side

    channel, including Johnson Creek, as the flood water makes

    its way down to Sumas.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Sumas, Everson and Nooksack.

  - How far the flooding extends northward, and whether it

    reaches Sumas, depends on how high the Nooksack River goes

    overbank at Everson and for how long.
