Northeastern Gallia County in southeastern Ohio... Meigs County in southeastern Ohio... Southwestern Washington County in southeastern Ohio... North Central Jackson County in northwestern West Virginia... Southwestern Wood County in northwestern West Virginia... North Central Mason County in western West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 341 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms earlier this morning. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall is expected tonight - The gauge on the Shade River at Chester has breached 17 feet, or minor flood stage, and continues to rise. At that stage, the low spot on Scout Camp Road near Sugar Run Creek bridge floods. Agricultural fields adjacent to river begin to flood. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
